The anklet-wearing sex offenders who are monitored by the GPS system have had difficulties in creating healthy interpersonal relationships due to lack of self-respect or self- confidence as well as stressful conditions. They should be supported to adapt to their current life situation well in order not to be involved in recidivism. Thus, it is necessary to strengthen their ability to restore their self-respect or self-confidence and reduce stress. In this study, ten sessions of tea-culture therapy program was applied to them in order to examine if there was any stress reduction effect. The major findings showed that their perceived levels of stress were reduced and their self-respect and self-confidence were also restored.
